--The public is invited to attend a community
event on preventing gang activity in
Thurston
County
. The Community
Forum "Gang Activity: Prevention is Possible" will
be held November 13th,
6:00-8:00 p.m. in the
Olympia
High
School
Performing
Arts
Center
.
This
outstanding presentation is for community members, parents, students,
educators and anyone who wants to find out more about local gang activity,
community-wide prevention efforts, and promoting the positive development of
all children and youth in
Thurston
County
.
The
audience will hear the inspirational words of Richard Santana, a former gang
member turned Harvard graduate. Those
