Stream Team
hosts free lecture on stream bugs
OLYMPIA
– Join Stream Team for a free evening
lecture about stream bugs and stream health in
Thurston
County
on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The
event will take place at the
Lacey
Community Center
,
6729 Pacific Ave. S.E.
Aquatic
entomologist, Bob Wisseman, will discuss how and why stream bugs are used to
indicate the health of streams, and reveal the outcome of data sampling
results.
Wisseman
analyzes stream bug samples collected by Stream Team volunteers and staff, who
have collected stream bug samples in
Thurston
County
for the past ten years.
