FREE Septic Sense Workshops

Thurston County-Thurston County Public Health and Social Services, Environmental Health Division offers a series of septic workshops every spring and fall.  Our spring workshops are being held at several convenient locations around the county.  They are a fun and informal way to get savvy about septic systems and the sessions are FREE!  Participants will leave the workshop knowing how to inspect a septic tank, how often to pump a tank, how to prolong the life of the septic drain field.  That way, workshop participants can protect their investment, their health, and the environment. 

Residents are urged to call Thurston County Public Health and Social Services, Environmental Health Division to register at (360) 754-4111. The workshops run from 7 pm to 9 pm and are at the following dates and locations:

April 9- Griffin Fire Station, 3707 Steamboat Island Rd. Loop NW (across from Steamboat Annies's) 

April 22- Rochester Fire Station, 18346 Albany St. SW, Rochester

April 30-Thurston County Courthouse, Building 1, Room 152, 2000 Lakeridge Dr. SW, Olympia
