Compliance Hearing Postponed
OLYMPIA
–
Thurston
County
commissioners have postponed a public hearing regarding proposed changes to
the county’s Comprehensive Plan and development regulations.
The cancelled hearing was originally intended to give the public an
opportunity to comment on proposed Limited Areas of More Intensive Rural
Development and revised agricultural lands designation criteria developed by
the planning commission in response to a July 20, 2005 ruling by the Western
Washington Growth Management Hearing Board.
“The board feels it is prudent to postpone the
public hearing, previously set for October 30, until after a Washington State
Court of Appeals hearing on the matter scheduled for Monday, November 27,”
says Chief Administrative Officer Don Krupp. The public and media outlets will
be informed of the rescheduled hearing date as soon as it is determined.
