COUNTY TO UPDATE PUBLIC ON THURSTON
JUSTICE CENTER PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW PROCESS
Olympia-
Thurston County officials are announcing two informational meetings to apprise
the public of the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) scoping and
environmental impact statement processes as they relate to the proposed
Thurston Justice Center project. The
SEPA process was put on hold in March, 2003 due to a Superior Court decision
requiring modification of the project scope.
The purpose of the community meetings is to update the public on the
revised project scope, the environmental review schedule, and corresponding
opportunities for public input.
The two meetings will be held:
Tuesday, January
27, 2004
Tuesday, February 10, 2004

Both meetings will run from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
