Non-Profits Invited to Apply for
Funding for Homeless Housing Programs
OLYMPIA
– Certified Non-Profit
organizations that provide certain services to assist homeless people are
invited to apply for grant funding.
Thurston
County
has made available $699,101 from the Washington State Department of Commerce
funds to either prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless or to
help those who are experiencing homelessness to be quickly re-housed and
stabilized.
Applications
for funding under the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program
can be picked up at the
Thurston County Health Department at
412 Lilly RD NE
in
Olympia
or downloaded from the
county
web site
at www.co.thurston.wa.us .
An
Application Workshop is scheduled for Monday, November 9, 2009, 1 p.m. in
Conference Room 107C at the Health Department.

Citizens
