Public Invited to Free Workshops

Fruiting Native Plants for Beginners
Wednesday June 3, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Lacey City Hall 420 College St. SE

Back by popular demand! Come learn about a few well-known and not so well-known berries that grow in the Pacific Northwest . This workshop will be geared toward plant and habitat basics. Workshop participants will also have the opportunity to take home FREE native plants.

Fruiting Native Plant Walk for Beginners
Saturday June 6, 2009, 10:00 am - noon
Receive location information when Register

Participants will learn about plant identification features, habitat requirements for different plants, and important techniques for restoration. The is a great field opportunity for getting to know your native plants. Wear comfortable and weather appropriate clothes.
