Drop Box Site Construction
ROCHESTER
– GRAND MOUND – Thurston County Department of Water and Waste Management
has contracted with Roglin’s Inc. for the remodel of the refuse disposal
Rochester Drop Box Site located at
16500 Sargent Road
. Construction is due to begin
June 8, 2005 and is scheduled to conclude in October 2005.
The construction project includes the
installation of an additional public tipping wall, site access road
improvements, storm water collection ponds, existing tipping wall
improvements, expanded recycle area and additional general site improvements.
During construction the site will continue to be open
for service Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but will be closed
for construction on Tuesdays. Alternative
refuse disposal sites during construction are;

from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Lewis County Transfer Station located
