Separate Myths from Facts at Septic System Workshop

THURSTON COUNTY --

Septic system owners, are you tempted by those telemarketer offers that say “buy our product and you’ll never have to pump again”?!  Attend a free septic system workshop to get practical, honest advice on the care and maintenance of your system.  A few tips can save you thousands of dollars in replacement costs.  Participants receive a $10 discount for septic tank pumping and a free video. 

For help figuring out what type of septic system you have, bring your as-built diagram to the workshop, or request a copy from Thurston County’s files when you register. Have your 11-digit parcel number ready when you call. 

Please pre-register by calling 360-754-4111 (the TDD line is 360-754-2933).  Citizens with disabilities requiring special workshop accommodation should call before the workshop.  These workshops are sponsored by Thurston County Environmental Health.  All are from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
