Limit Hearing on
Five
County
Roads Set for June 6
OLYMPIA
—The Thurston County Board of Commissioners will host a public meeting on
proposed speed limit changes to five county roads on Monday, June 6 at 6:00
p.m. in Building 1, Room 280 of the Thurston County Courthouse at
2000 Lakeridge Drive
in
Olympia
.
The
following roads and proposed changes to the speed limit will be considered:
133rd Avenue SW from Littlerock Road SW to the dead end, from 50
mph to 35 mph; Crockett Street SW from the dead end to 113th Avenue
SW, from 50 mph to 35 mph; Apricot Street SW from Sargent Road SW to 183rd
Avenue SW, from 50 mph to 40 mph; Johnson Point Loop NE, from 50 mph to 30
mph, and Lemon Road NE, from 46th Avenue NE to Woodard Bay Road NE,
from 50 mph to 40 mph.
All
members of the public are welcome to attend the hearing and speak on the
proposed changes. Copies of the proposed ordinance may be picked up at the
Traffic Division of the Road Department at
9605 Tilley Road SW.
