Additional Focus Group Meetings held in March 2009
The county identified a growing issue regarding aquaculture interest and shoreline resident stakeholders. To provide an atmosphere where the different constituencies could present their views, the county established three separate facilitated meetings for shoreline resident stakeholders and aquaculture representatives. Comments from both groups suggest these meetings were useful and provided a forum to effectively communicate with the County.
