We
Need a Slogan!
The Thurston County Auditor is looking for a slogan for the 2002 election
season. In addition to electing a County Commissioner, Assessor, Auditor,
Clerk, Coroner, Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, Treasurer, District Court
Judges, and a Public Utility Commissioner, voters will elect State Senators
and Representatives, two U.S. Congressional Representatives and PCOs.
In order to serve the public, and to keep the process pleasant and informative,
the Auditor selects a slogan for
the election season. Present and past examples include:

– “Shaping Our Community – One Vote At A Time”
(Emphasizing
the power of your vote)
2000 – “Vote 2000…Let Freedom Ring!”
(Highlighting
the Presidential election)
1999 – “20th Century Votes…21st Century
Leaders!”
(Emphasizing
the future of elections)
1998 – “Voting, The Key To Your Future.”
(Emphasizing
future leaders)
