The County Public Utility District has three elected commissioners. A PUD provides a utility or utilities (i.e., electricity, water, sewer, or telephone) to its owners, the voters who established it. A PUD is empowered to develop and operate any of the facilities necessary for the distribution of its utility service. The PUD can levy against taxable property within the district. 

The PUD currently operates and maintains a water system in the Thompson Place/Tanglewilde area.

• Only voters who live within District 3 will vote in the Primary Election.

• All voters in the County will vote for the position in the General Election.
