For the September 17, 2002 Primary Election

The following pages contain all county issues/measures certified to appear on the September 17, 2002 General Election ballot. You will not be entitled to vote on all measures. Only the measures that apply to your precinct will be printed on your ballot guide.

For each measure in the local voters’ pamphlet, the legislative authority of the jurisdiction placing the measure on the ballot is required to formally appoint committees to prepare statements advocating the approval and rejection of the measure. If the jurisdiction is unable to make such appointments, the Thurston County Auditor, whenever possible, makes such appointments.

The Auditor’s Office encourages you to thoroughly review all statements and rebuttals, and to seek additional information from the jurisdictions, the appointed citizen committees, the local and regional media, et cetera.
