I'm seeking re-election so I can continue to:

Help create environmentally friendly jobs. The environment and business are partners in creating a balance to enhance our quality of life. The Lacey transportation improvements encouraged over 2,000 new environmentally friendly jobs, while protecting our clean air and water. I have worked with the business community for over 23 years to help at risk youth gain employment and become contributing members of our community.

Increase activities for youth and families. I initiated youth representatives on Lacey's community committees, will work for a youth center, and a weekend Collectables and Farmer's Market.

Assure fiscal responsibility and public safety. We do more projects with less taxes -built the Senior Center without new taxes, secured the regional athletic complex and have the lowest crime rate locally. I worked to add another medic unit to serve our increasing emergency needs.
