Dick Yates

I've lived in the Lacey/Olympia/Tumwater area most of my life. I graduated from Olympia High School and attended St. Martins College. I worked in and owned our family owned wholesale egg business for most of my life and I am now a security guard. I coached my daughters and son in softball and baseball. I was an officer in the Capital City Men's Club, Vista Village, and the Elks. I am one of the founders of the Greater Olympia Dixieland Jazz Society. We have an excellent fire department, and we should keep it that way. Our police department is good, let's make it better. I'd like to see the Lacey City Council get closer to all the citizens of Lacey. We need to keep our streets up to handle the traffic that is coming with growth, or limit our growth so we don't end up with traffic jams.
