The Thurston County Auditor's Office held
its last Board Worker Appreciation, and Chad Retirement ceremony. Speakers
included Secretary of State Sam Reed, Auditor Kim Wyman, Commissioner Bob
Macleod, and a variety of other individuals. We sincerely appreciate the many
years of service our Board Workers provided.
On June 23, 2005, Thurston County honored members of our
community that have shared the commitment to voting for 50 years or more. Our
honorees have demonstrated the importance of democracy by their dedicated
participation in the election process.
Newly-elected officials Cathy Wolfe and Alan Corwin are sworn
in during this ceremony presided over by the Honorable Thomas McPhee, Thurston
County Superior Court Judge.
