| Thurston County has received the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for our 2007 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This marks the seventh time the County has received this award. This award is given to governmental organizations that go above and beyond minimum requirements and exemplify the spirit of transparency and full disclosure. The County has completed its application process for the 2008 award and the results have yet to be announced. |

| The Financial Services Division of the Thurston County Auditor's Office provides financial, accounting, analysis, internal auditing, payroll and accounts payable services for County departments and agencies. We provide assistance to those departments and offices in the compliance of financial requirements set by various national, state and local regulatory agencies. Financial Services also acts as a resource for addressing departmental accounting needs and questions. Financial Services is housed at Building # 4 of the Courthouse complex. The building address is 929 Lakeridge Drive SW, room 226. |
