Nancy Peterson

I have had the privilege of serving on the Lacey Council for 10 years. As a lifetime resident of Thurston County and as a citizen of Lacey for 36 years, I am committed to our community and its future. I ran for Council originally to help Create a Balance between Growth and Community. I believe even more in the importance of this balance as our community continues to experience growth. We need a livable community with parks and activities for all ages, a downtown with places to shop, and job opportunities for our youth. We are making progress yet much remains to be done. I look forward to continuing to serve Lacey citizens to ensure environmentally sensitive growth, to champion the development of our downtown, and to attract family-wage jobs and opportunities for our youth.
