Tom Nelson

Our city has a legacy of hard work and community service. I have been involved in that service as a North Thurston School board member for eight years and as a Lacey police officer for twenty-three years. Consequently, I know the value and importance of considering all sides of an issue before making the hard decisions. I also know that honesty and integrity, qualities that I value highly, are important ingredients in decision making.

Growth, public safety and transportation are issues that require Competent leadership to ensure that our community will remain a vibrant, wholesome place for our families to live and work. Our infrastructure needs constant vigilance. Certainly public safety is at the core of our security as a community. Considering the challenges facing our community, I will work hard to provide the best police and fire protection and also to manage growth effectively. I would appreciate your vote.
