Legislative District Offices
There are 49 legislative districts in the State of Washington. Each legislative district has one senate position and two representative positions. The districts are drawn so that they are approximately equal in population.
The State Legislature is directly involved in all aspects of state government and in many aspects of county and city governments. It is the governmental body that writes the laws of our state, develops a state budget, and has oversight of state agencies.
Please Note:
In Thurston County, candidates for Senate are running in Legislative Districts No. 2, 20, and 22, and candidates for the House of Representatives are running in Legislative Districts No. 2, 20, 22, and 35. |

One-party control in Olympia has created a government that has lost touch with the needs of families. If elected my priority will be to get Washington working again and create jobs and prosperity in our communities.
I will continue to fight to make government live within its means and allow taxpayers to keep more of their hard-earned money. By establishing clear priorities of government and maintaining fiscal discipline, we can ensure a balanced budget that provides sustainable funding for education, public safety and services for our most vulnerable citizens, including seniors and the developmentally disabled.
I also remain committed to developing a basin-wide solution to protect families and businesses from devastating floods. I am asking for your vote to continue our work together to make our state and our communities a great place to live and work. |
