Primary Election -
August 7, 2012 |
| |
| Precinct Committee Officers (PCO): |
|
| |
|
| |
- Only contested races appear on the ballot. A contested race is one where two or more candidates file for one party position in a single precinct. The PCO candidate receiving the most votes in the Primary is elected.
- If only one candidate files for a party PCO, that candidate is considered elected, and the office will not appear on the ballot. Write-ins are not allowed.
- For the limited purpose of voting in a PCO election, a voter affiliates with a major political party when he or she votes for a candidate of that party. Therefore, voters may vote for only one party and only one PCO candidate within that party.
- No PCO statements or photos are included in this voters’ pamphlet.
