A party can not use this system to continue a motion if the court previously struck the motion in open court in an earlier hearing. In that case, the motion must be re-noted.

Hearing Confirmations. 

 

Please confirm your Civil, Probate/Guardianship, Family Law, Family and Juvenile Court Judge's Motion, or Concurrent Case calendar hearing via the Internet.  If your hearing is NOT on one of the following calendars, your hearing does not need to be confirmed (the Monday/Wednesday Pro Se Family Law calendars do not need to be confirmed).   All confirmations need to include the following:

 Department number or Assigned Judge (if on the civil motion calendar);

bullet

 Calendar (if on a family law, concurrent case, or revision calendar)

bullet

 Cause number;

bullet

 Case title;

bullet

 Responsible attorney;

bullet

 Person confirming (if different from the responsible attorney);

bullet

 Your Email address;

bullet

 Your telephone number;

bullet

 Calendar date; and

bullet

 Whether or not you are confirming, continuing or striking. If you are continuing the hearing, please provide us with the date you are continuing the hearing to. It is your responsibility to advise opposing counsel of strikes and continuances.

Civil Calendars:  

The Friday 9:00 a.m. Civil Motion calendars, 9:00 DOL Revocation calendar and 10:30 Unlawful Detainer calendar must be confirmed by 12:00 noon three court days prior (usually noon on Tuesday unless a holiday is involved).

Judge's Motion Calendar:

The 1:30 p.m. Judge's Motion Calendar at Family and Juvenile Court must be confirmed by 10:00 three court days prior.

Probate/Guardianship Calendar:

The 1:30 p.m. Probate/Guardianship calendar at Family and Juvenile Court must be confirmed by 12:00 three court days prior.

Family Law Calendars:  

The Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 Family Law Calendars must be confirmed by 10:00 a.m. two days prior to the hearing (usually 10:00 on Friday for Tuesday's calendar; and 10:00 on Tuesday  for Thursday's calendar unless a holiday is involved).  

 

The number of cases heard on the family law calendars are limited.  If the Family Law Calendar is full, your hearing will be continued one week.  To find out the status of your hearing, you will need to view the online calendar by clicking here.  It is your responsibility to notify opposing counsel of any continuances due to full calendars.  Confirmation will be required for that continuance. Family Law confirmations are accepted by:

Court Commissioners' Concurrent/Conflict Case Calendars:

The Concurrent/Conflict Case Calendars before the Juvenile Court Commissioner on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. or before Family Law Court Commissioner on Fridays at 2:00 p.m. must be confirmed by 10:00 a.m. two court days prior to the hearing.  Continuances for the Juvenile Court Commissioner calendar are not accepted--a new Notice of Issue is required by the court.

Final Dissolution and Non-Parental Calendars:

Attorneys may continue or strike matters on these calendars.
