It is the practice of the Thurston
County Clerk's Office to require original Notices of Issue be placed on
colored paper. This will insure that your hearing has been calendared in
sufficient time for your hearing to appear on the court calendar and for the
court to prepare. Please remember to place original
Notices of Issue on the appropriate colored bond paper for the
case type. Copies and all associated documents need to be placed on
white bond paper.

available in Word. If you will
be filing an Exhibit List, use the following form. Please contact the
Clerk's Office before trial to provide the Courtroom Clerk your Exhibit List on disk or as an E-mail
attachment.
If
you save the document with a .dot instead of a .doc extension, when the
document is opened, prompts will appear to fill in the blanks. (For
example, right click on the word Exhibit List below, select "Save
As," change the file name from Exhibit List.doc to Exhibit List.dot, then
Save.} Open the document and prompts will appear.
When filing pleadings
within five
court days prior to the hearing, to ensure your pleading makes it to the
court file for the Judge's review prior to the hearing, you must attach
an expedite form. After printing the expedite slip form, please copy
it onto the proper colored paper and submit it with your expedited filing.
