Desktops, laptops, netbooks, all-in-one computers, tablets, modems/routers/hubs, hard drives, CD/DVD drives, memory, Sound/video cards, software, printers/scanners/fax, ink/toner, mice and keyboards, webcams, battery backups, laptop batteries, computer speakers, cables and connectors, PC game controllers. Best Buy charges a $25 fee to recycle computers. Hard drives must be removed from computers. (Best Buy will also remove the hard drives for a fee.)

Best Buy stores across the country now accept almost all consumer electronics for free. (Fees apply for TVs, monitors, computers and laptops). For more information, visit Best Buy's recycling website. Visitors are limited to bringing in 2 units per day per household.

E-Cycle Washington
...WA

Washington State law requires manufacturers to provide free recycling of computers, monitors, laptops, TVs and e-book readers (such as The Kindle by Amazon and the Nook by Barnes & Noble). The E-Cycle program is available to residents, nonprofit organizations, schools, small businesses and local governments.
