 New: 2013 Parks Plan Available

What’s in the future for parks and recreation?

Proposed Thurston County parks projects for the next five years (pending available funding) as well as an inventory of existing facilities and programs are outlined in the county’s 2013 Parks, Recreation, Trails and Natural Resource Preserve Plan.

Approved by Thurston County Commissioners in December, the plan also features a photo tour of parks, trails, preserves and programs, demographics relevant to park planning, and the policies and goals of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Check it out at on the county’s Parks and Recreation Services Web Site.
