impending floods. Subscribers can receive notices on the Chehalis, Deschutes, Nisqually and Skookumchuck Rivers. Information on sandbagging, including guidance for placing, estimating quantity and availability of
sandbags in the Thurston County. Thurston County Environmental Monitoring Program The Environmental Monitoring Program monitors the condition of water resources in the county. The program collects data
from various sources to help residents prepare for floods and other natural disasters.
Online Flood Map Amendment Request A tool for property owners to request a Leter of map amendment (LOMA), if they think their property has been inadvertently mapped in a Special Flood Hazard Area.
