Thurston County is opening a Disaster Recovery Center for residents and businesses affected by the recent earthquake on Monday, March 12, in the Capital Mall.

Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the American Red Cross will be on hand at the Recovery Center, located between Ben Bridge Jewelers and Butterfield Etc. across from the Bon Marche.

Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., the Center will offer low-interest loan information for homeowners, renters and businesses, as well as help with hazard mitigation and other assistance.
