Residents Urged to Report Damages for FEMA Reports

Inspection Status

 

Residents of unincorporated Thurston County are urged to report private property damage to the county’s Emergency Management Division at 754-3360. This information is critical to the area’s application for federal assistance.

 

Residents suspecting structural damage to homes in unincorporated Thurston County should contact Development Services at 754-3360 to arrange for a building inspector to assess their structures. Residents of Olympia should call 753-8314. Residents of Lacey should call 491-5642. Tumwater residents should call 754-4189.

Building Inspection Update

 

Eight homes in unincorporated Thurston County were inspected yesterday. Three were yellow-tagged (limited entry but not habitable). County officials estimate the damage (so far) at $124,000. Twenty inspections were scheduled for today (Friday) and 17 for tomorrow.
