                               THURSTON COUNTY OFFERS BUILDING INSPECTION

 

Residents Urged to Report Damages

 

Thurston County Emergency Management officials advise residents of unincorporated county areas who suspect structural damage to their homes to contact Development Services at 754-3360 to arrange for a building inspector to assess their structure. Phone receivers will be on hand at the Emergency Operations Center until 10 p.m. tonight and will return at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning.

 

The Permit and Assistance Center, located at the County Courthouse, has reopened for business and will maintain regular working hours.

 

Residents of unincorporated Thurston County are encouraged to report private and/or public property damage to the County’s Emergency Management Division at 754-3360. “This information is critical to the area’s application for federal assistance,” comments Emergency Management Director Lester Olson. Residents of Lacey should call 491-5642.  Olympia residents should call 753-8314. Tumwater residents should call 754-4189.
