Adopt
a Flower Bed
Here’s your chance to get your fingers dirty while beautifying the fairgrounds for the 2010 fair season.
The
Thurston County Fair has numerous
flower beds looking for volunteers
to help keep them looking their
best. During Fair Week, the
flower beds lend a touch of color
and beauty to the Fair Week
experience.
If
you are interested, there is more
information below on where the
flower beds are located, which ones
are available for loving, volunteer
care, and how to contact us if you
wish to sign up.

Adopt
a Carousel Horse
This year’s fair mascot is Firefly, the Carousel Horse. Anyone can adopt a plywood carousel horse, paint it as you wish, and it will be placed on the fairgrounds.
It will cost $20 to adopt a horse – the cost of the plywood, a 4’ post, and labor involved in cutting out the horses. If you want a 6’ post it would cost $25. Spots where horses can be put are mapped out (there are 24 of them) and you can select your location at the time you pay. First come – first served!
If you're interested in this project please stop in at the Thurston County Fair office to place your order or call the Fair Office @ 360-786-5453 to place your order over the phone.
