Antique Appraisal Event
at the Thurston County Fair
Friday, July 31st, 2015

Antique AppraisalNow's your chance to get that whatsit of grandma's identified or have your prize possession described and valued!

On Friday, July 31st, in Heritage Hall, there will be an antique appraisal event from 4 to 7 p.m.  A professional appraiser will discuss each item entered and give an oral evaluation of value.

Here are the particulars:

  • Enter on-line, describing your article(s), using the form below.

  • Bring your antiques for entry on Sunday, July 26th, between 2 and 8 p.m. in Heritage Hall.  There will be directional signs.

  • Entries will be exhibited on the stage in Heritage Hall.  There will be no members of the public allowed up on the stage during the Fair.  It will be roped off, and as much as possible, exhibits will be in locked cases.

  • No guns or other weapons please.

  • In order to enter your item(s), you must be present for the actual appraisal event on Friday, July 31st.

  • There is no fee to enter, but you will have to pay the gate admission fee on Friday.

  • You may pick up your articles on Monday, August 3rd, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Because space is limited, we will notify you two weeks before the Fair as to what items you can bring.  If, for instance, we have four rocking chairs entered, we'll have to limit the number of such entries.

  • If, after the appraisal event on Friday, you want to take your item(s) home because of their value, that is OK, but we will want to take a photo to put on exhibit in place of the item(s).

  • All articles on exhibit will have a brief description of history, or what it is, BUT there will be no information as to ownership and value for obvious security reasons.

  • To enter, fill in the following information and click the Submit button.  Fields marked with an * are required.

* Your full name:

* Your address (street, city, zip code):
