The
Thurston County Fair
in Olympia, Washington is a family-oriented, old fashioned, five-day fair. The fair runs Wednesday through Sunday, always on the first weekend in August. Come join us this year and pet the animals, spin some wool, cruise the carnival, visit the exhibits, get dizzy on the rides, check out the commercial vendors, and feast on
the fabulous fair food.
The
2010 Fair Week runs from August 4 through August
8. Admission
hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.,
Wednesday through Saturday, and 10
a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets
can be purchased in advance at a
discount or at the gate.
There are lots of concerts
and other entertaining acts
each and every day during Fair Week
which are free with your paid
admission.

The Thurston County Fairgrounds is conveniently
located close to Interstate 5
in the Olympia-Lacey area of the South Puget Sound. You can even
ride the bus
to the fair. Hotels and motels are in close proximity, and the Fairgrounds can accommodate up to 100 RVs during Fair Week.
During the off-season, the Fairgrounds is in constant use for both private and public functions.
Facilities
include meeting halls and rooms, barns, arenas, and a camping area. The Fairgrounds also has a covered facility for winter storage of
boats, vehicles and RVs
.
