Thurston County Public Health Preparedness

When a disaster happens it is critical that Thurston County Public Health & Social Services Department is prepared to respond quickly to protect you and your family from potential health hazards. The Department has an emergency response plan that is designed to provide coordination for all types of public health emergencies. The plan defines roles and responsibilities of staff and volunteers, mitigation efforts, response, and recovery plans. The Department plan is coordinated with other emergency response organizations in Thurston County and their respective emergency plans. The plan also provides a link to regional and state emergency plans.
