of the revised Guiding Principles [PDF]
and an overview of Thurston County demographics. We also took an in-depth look at
the Household Hazardous Waste Education and Outreach program, reviewing the program's
Goals and Objectives [PDF]. The

revised Guiding Principles [PDF]
and revised Education & Outreach Goals and Objectives
[PDF]. The presentation [PDF] provided an in-depth view of the
Household Hazardous Waste, Small Quantity Generator and used oil waste collection systems that Thurston County
provides to area residents and businesses. Minutes [PDF] are now available.

fifth meeting provided an in-depth look at the Small Quantity Generator Technical Assistance and Enforcement
programs. The
presentation [PDF] included revised Waste Collection Goals and Objectives,
as well as a first look at goals and objectives for the Technical Assistance and Enforcement sections of the
plan. Program evaluation was not covered.

Agenda [PDF] — During
the sixth meeting, Draft Goals and Objectives from both the Small Business Technical Assistance and Enforcement
Programs, as presented in minutes from 10/16 meeting, were reviewed. The
presentation [PDF]
included service gaps from the 1998 Hazardous Waste Plan
and compared those to where they are today. We also
looked at selected program options from the 1998 plan.
The group was asked a series of questions about programs
to help determine needs for the future.

Agenda [PDF] — During the seventh meeting, the
presentation [PDF] completed the subject of gaps, focusing
on Technical Assistance, Enforcement, Education and
Program Evaluation. Additionally, the group gave
final review to the Technical Assistance and Enforcement
Goals and Objectives and also looked at Goals and
Objectives for Program Evaluation for the first time. Beyond Waste indicators for hazardous waste reduction
were also presented and discussed.
