Pertussis (whopping cough) vaccine is now recommended for school age children 11 years and older, and adults? In 2010 there have been localized outbreaks of pertussis (whooping cough) throughout the US and a statewide outbreak in California. While pertussis can be a mild to severe illness in older children and adults, it can be life-threatening for infants. Protect yourself and others – get your pertussis immunization.

Seasonal Influenza (Flu) Vaccine
  • Routine immunization with seasonal Influenza vaccine is now recommended for all persons 6 months of age and older.
  • Young children can receive seasonal flu shots in health care provider offices.
  • Older children and adults can receive seasonal flu shots in health care provider offices and a variety of places in the community (i.e., pharmacies, grocery stores).
