Mission statement
Section 104(a)(3) of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 requires that residents have
an advisory role in planning, implementing , and the
assessment of community development programs. The
HOME Consortium created the Citizens Advisory
Committee (CAC) in 2009 as a means of ensuring the
public’s access and participation in the decision
making process. The CAC is an advisory committee to
the HOME Consortium and meet the fourth Tuesday of
every month.
