THURSTON THRIVES

COMMUNITY resilience

purpose/scope:

The Community Resilience Action Team is developing a strategy and recommendations on how to build and support community connectedness and cohesion in order to: 1) improve individual and community health, 2) withstand and recover from adverse experiences, and 3) use even crises and setbacks as opportunities.  The action teamís efforts focus on ensuring that all people are connected, supported and included, increasing the level of civic and community engagement, and encouraging diverse actions that emerge from all parts of the community.
