About the Advisory Council

The Thurston Thrives Advisory Council is a 13-member citizen advisory group that will work with the Thurston County Board of Health in 2013-2014 to develop an action agenda addressing key factors that impact community health - health behaviors, the physical and built environment, social and economic factors and health services.  The Advisory Council, along with nine topic area "Action Teams", will craft a strategic action agenda, with measurable outcomes policy makers can use to guide efforts to improve community health in Thurston County.
