The mission of the Human Resources Department is to collaborate with County leaders to effectively meet the personnel needs of our employees as well as external customers. To accomplish this, the Department develops and administers programs and services that support the success of the County’s mission and contribute to the attainment of Thurston County goals. Services we provide are:
The Department also supports the Board of Equalization, which hears tax assessment appeals, the LEOFF Disability Board, and the Thurston County Citizen’s Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials.
