In September of 2001, various Federal, State, and local officials and agencies formed the Thurston County Methamphetamine Coalition to share resources and focus efforts to eradicate the menace of meth. Over the past eight years, the Coalition has made great strides to make our community a safer home.
In 2008, the Meth Coalition became the Meth Action Team. The focus of the Meth Action Team is to provide a collaborative response to the use of meth. While the local manufacturing of meth has decreased, the use of meth has certainly not followed a similar downward trend. Therefore please help us to educate the community about the devastating effects of meth and how they can get treatment help.
