Welcome to the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office Website.  The Prosecuting Attorney's office is a multi-mission County office headed up by the elected prosecutor Edward G. Holm.  This site is designed to provide a broad overview of the Prosecutor's Office and assist you in obtaining additional information that may be of assistance.

The Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office employs more than 30 attorneys and more than 30 administrative support staff.  The office is responsible for prosecuting all adult and juvenile felony crimes committed in Thurston County as well as gross misdemeanors and misdemeanors.

Crime Victims assistance is provided through the Victim Advocate Team.  This team offers a variety of services and referrals designed to assist crime victims in coping with what is often a traumatic and confusing process.

Attorneys from the Prosecutor's Office serve as legal advisors to all Thurston County departments and agencies and also defend or prosecute civil cases on behalf of county government.  In addition, the Prosecutor's Office handles child support cases under a contract with the State Division of Child Support.
