Frye Cove Park is a hidden gem!

Enjoy the magnificent views of Mt. Rainier and 1400 feet of saltwater beach on  Eld Inlet.   Known as the perfect  spot for weddings it also has a brand new playground, great nature walks, shellfish gathering and plenty of space for a good old fashioned family picnic. Recently updated restrooms, picnic areas plus over 2 miles of trails make this 67-acre site perfect for year round fun.
 
 
There are two covered shelters at Frye Cove Park.
 
The Rainier Shelter (nearest one in the photo at right)
This shelter is closest to the meadow and the playground. 
Amenities include: 
One picnic table
   Total seating capacity of 8-10 people

The Cove Shelter (far one in the photo at right)
This shelter is closest to the beach. 
Amenities include: 
One picnic table
   Total seating capacity of 8-10 people

Directions to Frye Cove Park

From I-5 in Olympia, north or southbound, take Exit 104 (US 101 north, Aberdeen). Stay on US 101 toward Shelton. Take the Steamboat Island Rd Exit. Go north on Steamboat Island Rd NW about 5.8 miles and turn right onto Young Rd NW. Proceed about 2 miles, turn left on 61st Ave NW into Frye Cove County Park.
