Ages 6 - 12 years
Each week campers go swimming, visit the library and go on scheduled field trips.
Other activities are planned each week that may include arts, music,
games, and enrichment activities. Sign up early as this camp fills up fast!

*Pioneer day camp
is a fully inclusive program specifically designed to accommodate
all youth including persons with mental and physical disabilities.
Summer Weekday Camp for the
Disabled
Ages 6 - 21 years
Summer fun for everyone!
This day camp program is geared for youth with mental and physical
disabilities. Weekday Camp is held in tandem with Pioneer day Camp
and provides an inclusive experience for all participants.
Activities include field trips, swimming, arts & crafts, fitness and
special events. Supervision provided by qualified staff trained in
CPR and First Aid. Participants must be ambulatory and toilet
independent. We are unable to provide attendant care for toileting,
toilet transfers, or feeding. Average 1:6 staff ratio. If your child
requires 1:1 care you must provide an attendant. Please call the
Recreation Office for more information.
