Mileage markers are placed every 1/2 mile and run North to South starting at Woodard Bay on the northern portion of the DNR-owned Chehalis Western Trail.  

Thurston county's portion starts at mile marker 6/5 at the Chambers Lake Trailhead.

Estimated Mileage:  14.5 miles.

Chambers Lake Trailhead to junction with Yelm-Tenino Trail - 14 miles
Junction to Rainier - 2 miles
Rainier to Yelm - 5 miles
Junction to Tenino - 6.5 miles
