How to use the online map

The County's map works in Internet Explorer and Firefox with pop-ups enabled.  It doesn't work in modern browsers, like Chrome, or on mobile devices like tablets or phones.

  1. Go to http://www.geodata.org/online.htm
  2. Select Parcel Search from left menu.
  3. Click Acknowledge disclaimer to open the Search box page.
  4. Enter the address, or parcel number & click GO!
  5. A new window will open.  Click on the parcel number you want to see (there may only be one).
  6. Another window will open with the data for that parcel.  Click on Zoom Map to Parcel (which is at the top of the page under the Parcel Number).
  7. Turn on the flood hazard layer from the left-side menu under the Hydro section by clicking the BOX labeled Flood Zones Current.  The map will automatically change to a different color if the property is in a FEMA flood zone.
  8. To see which zone, select legend from the list of options at the top of the page.
  9. To return to the layers menu, select layers from the list of options at the top of the page.

How to see proposed changes to Marine Coastal Areas

To see the proposed new Marine Coastal Areas on the County map, follow steps 1 through 6 above.  Then turn on the proposed Marine Coastal Area by selecting the BOX in front of Not Adopted - Marine Coastal.  The proposed areas will appear.

To find out more information about a proposed Marine Coastal Area, click the circle next to the layer name, then select the i Identify tool which can be found at the bottom of the page.  Next click on the Marine Coastal Area that you would like to know more about.  A pop-up window will open with information about the proposed area.
