• July 6, 2010: The Thurston County Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance 14377 [2009/2010 Development Code Docket Item A-1]. This change to Thurston County Code, Title 20 provides flexibility of lot and building size for Fire District Facilities in Rural Thurston County.
• Aug 3, 2010 : The Thurston County Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 14388. The ordinance amended Title 14 to incorporate the 2009 International Residential Code adopted by the state, along with changes to the fire code inspection and flood hazard management sections.

• Nov. 16, 2010: The Board of County Commissioners approved Ordinance 14439 - Development Code Docket items A-4, A-5, A-6, A-8 and A-12.
