The Washington State Growth Management Act (GMA) requires counties to periodically review and revise their comprehensive plans and development regulations. Thurston County is in the process of updating its comprehensive plan, with a focus on ensuring compliance with state law and incorporating new information generated since the last major update in 2005. The updated plan will consider population growth over a 20-year planning horizon, projecting out to 2035.
This page will be updated throughout the review process to include information on upcoming meetings, available public drafts, and opportunities for public comment.
