Item #11: Long Term Agricultural Lands Designation Reconsideration
Background
Resolution No. 14180 did not exclude any agricultural lands based on soils depth. In response, property owners whose Comprehensive Plan land use designation and zoning changed to Long Term Agriculture were allowed to submit soils information to the county to request reconsideration. The county received four requests. The requests would change the land use and zoning designations from Long Term Agriculture (LTA) to Rural Residential/Resource One Unit per Five Acres.
Current Status
This project is currently on hold pending completion of the Critical Areas Ordinance and staff availability. It is expected that it will be completed by June 2011 with the other comprehensive plan amendments.
