The Board of County Commissioners has scheduled a public hearing for March 10, 2012. The subject of the hearing is Ordinance
No. 14706, which establishes interim protections for prairie and Oregon white oak habitat.

The Thurston County Planning Commission will hold a public
hearing on February 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. to accept public comment on
the draft regulations relating to the designation of mineral
resource lands criteria as required by the Western Washington Growth
Management Hearings Board Final Decision Order.
